Mischef.. Mischef.. and More Mischef...

Ah boy is growing.. although i seem him daily n can hardly see how much he has grown, but from his actions, i can tell at once.

Many things to report.. provided i rmbr all the issues.

1) He is so tall now till he can reach for the 3rd level of buttons inside the lift. The 1st level is the open/close & alarm button. Follow by 2nd level is 1, 2 & 3. And wks ago, he pressed button 4! Oh my goddness, the lift door juz closed and re-open at 4th floor. It's not amazing tt the door open at the 4th floor after the button "4" is pressed. But amazed at how tall my boy has grown! U muz be tinking wat kind of weird mum m i? Using the lift buttons as a height gauge for my son! haha~~

2) He's becoming more talkative recently... not that he can speak more adult language, but he talking more baby language that none of us can interpret. That was once when he was at my mum's hse. He told my mum he wan to 睡觉 (sleep). Den he keep telling my mum XX jiao.. n my mum mistaken him as looking for his 姑姑. Haha~ Nid send him to phonics class soon...

3) MIL is training him to go diaper-less.. as he is reaching 2yo soon. So 1 fine day, after he has shitted, Mil gave him well a pant wifout disposable diaper & diaper cloth. So while Mil was clearing something... Ah boy shitted again! And after ah boy shitted, he din called for Mil. The shit fell out btwn his pants and drop onto the floor. Curious ah boy want to pick up the shit to play! At that time, Mil saw it, and quickly wash up ah boy and his stingy little shity-covered fingers! Damn horrible woh!

I rmbr a psychologist friend told me abt a case he encountered before. He was working in a school with students having a lower IQ than normal. There was this incident whereby a boy shitted in a school bus. He even dig up the shit and feed his schoolmate to eat. Lucky the bus driver stopped the action on time. Can u imagine how disgusting & mischevious are the kids nowadays?

4) My dining table of ard 4yrs has collapse recently. Ah boy was kicking a small ball near the table wen we heard a crack sound, follow by the sighting of a slanted table. The table legs has broken. I blamed ah boy for climbing up onto the table everytime. He used to climb up onto the chair, followed by the table to grab items on the table. Now the table cant withstand his weight and has broken. My parents ask me to make use of this opportunity to scold ah boy, to let him learn that he has damaged someting. So when we scold him, he cry out in tears.

The next day, when hb relate the broken table story to his parents, ah boy stopped playing his toys and look up at his dad, then break down in tears again. From then on, whenever we asked him why he break the table, he will close his eyes and lowered his head to show his guilt.

Above are videos links to show how gulity he looks when we mentioned abt the broken table.

Now Ah boy is pretty scared whenever he's near a dining table. When we went to shop for a new table, he was very well-behaved and sat quietly at the chair while we processed our payment. When the old table was picked up by town council to discard, he stood aside quietly with his head lowered down. When the new table was delivered, he also stood quietly and still felt so guilty.

I'm glad he has learned the lesson and is more well-behaved. He has no longer dare to climb up any tables. As for chairs, yes... he still climbed, but only with our permission.
