SAVINGS up for Rainy Days

I understand the need for savings daily to meet with unexpected expenses in the future. But..

How many of you will really save?
At what age will you start to save money?
How much will you put aside everyday to save money?

(Wonder Y m I posting this saving qns in Ah boy’s blog?)

Well, to be honestly speaking, my dearest ah boy has practiced savings at the age of 2 years old! Or 25mths to be exact!

Where does his money came from? Since we don give him any pocket money currently? – From our wallets DAILY!

It started out one fine day when I digged out a 5-cent coin from a pocket while ironing. Out of fun, Ah boy immediately picked up the coin and open my display cabinet, took out my ceramic piggy bank figurine and wan to insert the coin in. I was so afraid that he will break my figurine, that I gave him another plastic piggy bank to insert the coin.

From then on, whenever he spotted coins, he will insert into his plastic piggy bank. His dad doesn’t have the habit of keeping coins in his wallet. At the end of his daily outside trip, any left-over coins he collected will be placed outside the wallet, on a table. Ah boy will come and take all the coins and dropped into his piggy bank.

Since last Saturday, Ah boy begins to look into my wallet. As he knew which section of my wallet contains the coins, he will dig out all coins and deposit into his piggy bank again. Sunday morning, I left home w/o a single coin! Sunday (which is ytd) when I brought him home, he took my wallet and took out all coins again. This morning I thought I have lost my wallet, only to find my wallet with the empty coin again. I try opened his piggy bank, only to get ah boy’s strong objection of taking coins away from him. Hai~~~

Tell me now, wat shd I do????

He’s gtg richer, We’re gtg poorer!! SOB.. SoB.. sob..
