1st week of Child Care
Time passes by very fast.. Today marks the 5th day of Ah boy struck in a totally new environment, faced wif unfamiliar "monsters" ard...
He struggled and refused to attend sch every morning. Waking up at 6.45am and drinking milk, clean up and leaving hse is ok for him.. Nightmare starts wen he reached the door of the school, where he hug tightly to his dad. Wen Ah boy's teacher carry him away fr his dad, tears start to roll out of his eyes.
Wed and thu, he vomitted at the child care. Teachers asked if he was sick, as he vomitted for 2 consecutive days. However, my mil advised the teachers tt he vomitted coz he cried too much after his morning milk feed. Ah boy was felt wif slight fever in the evening when i went to pick him up fr MIL's hse.
MIL said tt whenever she mentioned school or teacher to Ah boy, he is spotted wif eyes turning red.. like abt to cry.. Oh my.. it's hurts my heart juz to hear abt it.
Tis mrng, i make an extra effort to send ah boy to sch wif my hb. As usual, he start to cry n fear entering the school compound. I recommend the teacher to let him play some toys to reduce his fear. Upon us leaving the sch, v peep in thru the windows, and saw the teacher intro some toys to Ah boy, and he did pick up those toys to play. So it's quite a relief.
Now waiting for 12+ to check on the status of ah boy at school today. :)
