Scared of Dog Bark

Ytd I went to fetch son home from my MIL's hse. Wen i gng to leave her place, we had a quick chat on some misc stuffs. Then suddenly MIL's neighbour's dog bark! Poor ah boy got a fright and break down into tears. I pet pet ah boy for a while and tog he will calm down.. then the dog bark again.. And he so scared that he cried out loud... I quickly end conversation wif MIL and hug ah boy away. He so timid.. or the dog is too Fierce?
