FEVER
Last nite wen i went to pick ah boy up from MIL's hse, i felt tt ah boy's body is producing sum heat. At 1st i tog i was sick, tt y i cant confirm ah boy is having fever. He's very tired when i brought him to NTUC for grocery shopping. After reach home, he slpt very fast, earlier then his normal slpg time. Temperature measured was 36.5 deg C. When Hb came home, i tod him abt ah boy's fever. He touched his forehead, agreed wif me that it slightly hot. At ard 12.30am, ah boy woke up n cried. Wen Hb carried him, we confirmed he is slight feverish. Fed him some baby feverish medicine (rec'd from his injection last time). Amazed tt he like this medicine taste now, last time he used to spill out the medicine wen v fed him. Gave him a icy cold forehead pad. He shivered abit n kept pushing the pad away... refused to lie down n rest.. He kept playing n moving ard us (v both too tired n trapped him btwn us on our bed). Finally he slpt at 2am.. n was only trf to his cot at 3am.
I only managed to get a better slp at 3am... n oh no! he wake up at 5am for a drink. Hai... i so sick.. or rather lack of slp... Having giddyness since monday.. I need a break.. and my bed!
He's fine tis morning... Ask MIL to monitor him.. Maybe he developing the bigger back teeth, tt y have slight fever.

Updatez Updatez Updatez...
Lazy me.. or perhaps busy me... is struck at FACEBOOK! Alamak.. ok.. time to update my blog.. update status of my lovely ah boy...
2 word for him: SMART & NOTTI!
SMART- Coz he now is learning how to stand n walk.. at a age of 8mths! Sound fast hor... Well.. or mayb he impatient.. wan run ard w/o us.. haha... He now can crawl forward... Yeah.. so he achieve crawling process before 8mth. Then he luv to grab onto things n stand up! His slp cot (we lower the cot height to the most bottom hole!) n he reach for the top of the cot n stand up. Every time he awake, his action is flip, open eye, sit up, den reach for the top n stand up.. Next he pull my blanket or hit my legs to wake me up! Wat a 'filial' son ar! He don wan slp, means I also cannot slp! *Yawn*
Beside standing wif support, i saw him try walk a few steps wif support.. tt is holding onto the top of the cot n walk left/right a few step b4 he toople down. Nice move ar.. Wen he at our big bed, n try stand up w support, saw him 2x trying to let go his hands.. so he like standing w/o support in the air... n fell down in ard 3sec. We havent teach him all these walking or standing w/o support.. He juz challenge himself... so isnt him smart? Let c if he can walk before 1 yo. Heard tt girls learn to walk earlier den boys.. Though it old folks tale... but.. i can say my son look like a girl.. which countless ple even till today, still ask me if he's a boy or a girl? So given the femine look, guess he amongst the girls who speedy at learning to walk.
NOTTI- Above mention he can crawl n stand w support.. so he crawl ard my hse.. n often hurt himself by banging onto the floor (lot of bruises on his head). He will grip any support, from electrical wires to our coffee table. Wen he at our coffee table... v can say 'byebye' to whatever items on the surface... coz he grab n throw everyting onto the floor! He luv & plays the remote controllers.. fr fans to tv to dvd, tink he may grow up b electrical engrg ar.. or CONTROLLER (of any jobs).

My summary of the blog: There is this couple who try conceive a child. They failed in 2004 when the wife miscarriaged. They try conceive again this year with a twin. 1 of the twin could not survive in the womb & pass away on Apr 07. The other twin was born prematurely in Jun 07. However she cant survive too and pass away 1 day after birth. Can c her suffering wif lot of tubes over her body. And the ashes of the babies really make me feel so sad for them and their family. May them rest in peace... (sob.. sob..)
Suddenly i feel i miss my ah boy so much.. I will love n cherish ah boy always.. And thks gods for blessing me with a healthy child.

13 Oct, Sat
It's Hari Raya Puasa! Actually wanted go visit hb's collegue's hse to celebrate hari raya. But heavy rain, so din attend. Ah boy miss his 1st ever hari raya celebration.. Nvm.. next yr. Den evening time, we went to celebrate hb's bdae wif Ah Heng, Yongan & Gf at Thai Express, J8. Wanted to take sum nice pic, but camera broke down.. so sad... So took wif hb's hp.

Brought ah boy to my parents plc. Den brought ah boy for his 3rd swim.. he simply love swimming... Will try bring him swim at least once a wk if free. Anyone wan join us for a swim, pls contact us. Will be either bishan, yio chu kang or khatib swimming complex on wkends.

Fun-Filled Saturday

Lazy Dad din wan to do vacuum/mopping on sat morng... came up wif a stupid excuse tt he injured his arm. My usual sat morng routine is ah boy wake me up, feed him milk, bathe him, wash clothes, feed cereals, while daddy watch doremon cartoon, vacuum & mop floor. So this bright sunny saturday morning, v have switched role! After fed ah boy wif milk, i vacuum & mop floor.. As for daddy, he BATHE ah boy.. His virgin job! Okay.. he learning to do his daddy duties wen ah boy is 5mths+ old: change his urine diapers (havent attempt those diapers wif shit yet), change clothings, alone at home wif ah boy for > 1 hr, bring ah boy out alone. Now tt ah boy is gng 8mth, his dad try to bathe him for the very FIRST time. Below are the evidences!
In the afternn, we brought ah boy for a swim wif his auntie XR.. It is his 2nd swim attempt, and he love it. He din even cry wen he touch the water. Perhaps the water is much warmer as it in the afternn n wif the hot burning sun above. Hb is complaining tt ah boy is too Fair.. so he wan sun-tan ah boy. Crazy dad! Lucky the sun is setting down & also like gng rain. If not v will have a sun-burnt ah boy now. LOL! Notti dad kept splashing water onto ah boy, and ah boy blurly drank a few slips of the pool water. Haha.. n he enjoy splashing back water at his dad, and of coz us... We played for 30min and then took turn to bathe. I'm glad he enjoying it.. will bring him for more swimming sessions soon... (No pic taken during swimming.. nxt time ba)
After our swim, we went over to J8 for our dinner n shopping. Pop over to BHG to browse at some babies clothes... n tt wen Aunt XR took a femine hat n put it on ah boy.. Den the next few min v tried putting on different hat for ah boy.

Wk 26-30 Sept
Recently notice Ah boy seem to be able to sit up on his own & stand up wif support!! So last fri, wen pick him up wif MIL, confirm wif her tt ah boy is able to achieve the above. Bravo! Which means he can sit up w/o our help from a lying down position. Wen v lay him down, face up, back down. He flip over 1st, den crawl backward n den crawl into a sit-up position. wah.. super smart lor.. Coz v nvr teach him how to sit up using tt way.. Normally v lend him our fingers.. n lift him up from his face.. not BACKWARD crawl lor.. Anyway, it's great he able to sit up on his own, which means his sitting position is very stable. Able to sit at 7mth, so proud of him (coz the mypaper-blog's son still sit unstable at 7mth, our son gap is like only few days apart.. hee~!)
Ah boy can crawl a bit.. but normally he prefer to crawl backward den forward.. hai~.. N he skipping his learning process n wan to STAND now! Alamak... Tt was once i left him in his baby cot while i in the same rm doing other tings. Den i saw him put his hands on the top of the cot n STOOD up lor. I was quite a distance away from him lor.. I ran to him.. coz i worry he unstable n fall n hurt his head. Now, if he wans to stand, he grab watever support n straighten his legs, try to stand. My dear boi, u havent even crawl forward yet.. y trying to skip process n learn to stand leh???
It's fun n nice to c ah boy growing up everyday.. esp these few mths.. where he will be learning lots of tings.. I'm always looking forward to my nites after work.. coz i get to mit up wif my beloved boi.. n it gng to be 6pm in 2mins... bye..
Ah boy, here i come...
