Baby Gathering
1st time attending Idobb gathering... a simple n small gathering for babies 3-6mths old. Held at 1 of the forumer hse at hillview area.. A bit un-accessible for us.. Coz nid take cab to n fro the area. But then.. it was fun to c so many cutey babies... n aso mit the mummies n daddies to share the experience... such as hair dropping for both mummies n babies, saliva dripping... size of the babies, etc...

My pic? Arh.. it wif my hb, he took MY camera to his office.. n i cant find time to upload the pic to my pc... cant do it at hm coz cant get rid of bb wen he ard. Really no personal time for myself wen at home wif ah boy ard... So sian.. everyting so messy in my hse... Den hb throw all my tings away, coz i no time to clear the mess!

Saw in a forum where they are chatting abt signing with babies. As babies don noe how to speak our language till mayb 1-2yo, we can teach them simple sign language to communicate with them. Esp they like to imitate our actions, might as well teach them so that they can pinpoint to us wat they really wan. Will try it out on ah-boy soon.

SHOPPING SPREE
I broke... spending so much money suddenly... All on my beloved ah boy! I bought this Baby Einstein DVDs via yahoo auction. This consists a complete selection of award-winning DVDs: Baby Van Gogh,Baby Shakespeare, Baby Newton, Baby Beethoven, Baby Bach, Baby Mozart, Baby da Vinci From Head to Toe, Baby Noah Animal Expedition,Baby Monet Discovering the Seasons, Baby Santa, etc. Since ah boy like to watch tv a lot, always shift his head towards the tv direction wen v place him in the living rm, I shall get him these educational dvds to attract his attention, better than letting him join us watch those dramas. These dvds are not cheap lor... And i try my best to source for the cheapest original set... thru yahoo auctions, ebay, forums Bulk Purchase... and i got my copy! Bid successful today. Now waiting for the pymt & delivery process...
My next purchase is the Bumbo seat. http://www.bumboseat.com/Purchase as a BP fr 1 of the forums. Selling $79.90 in the mkt. But i got it at $64 thru forum. A new set n i chose purple. So if my next bb is a ger, i wont b so biased as to get everyting in blue! Beside i luv purple colour too! Hopefully i get my bumbo soon, so ah boy can sit on his bumbo and enjoy his DVDs at the same time! Nowadays, ah boy don seems to like to lie down on his back. Even wen i put him on the rocking chair, he wan lift his head forward. Like he wan sit up position! Try let him sit up, but he cant balance well yet. Hope the bumbo will fulfilled his wish of sitting upright!
I still got so many things which i wan buy for ah boy... soft shoes, wet bag (waterproof- can store my wet gym clothings too), diaper bags, family wear, cheap pyjamas (he outgrown some of his clothes already), walker, high chair.. haha.. i b very broke... Muz control myself.. but only the essential ting 1st! Any kind sponsors??? (Hinting to his ah-yi & Xiao Jiu?)

HAPPY FATHERS' DAY!
V brought ah boy out for lunch wif my family, to celebrate Fathers' Day! Ytd, DH bought a baby carrier fr Kiddy Palace, coz KP is having 20% disc till today. Den v test test the carrier on ah boy. He quite like it, as he slp comfortably in it. Guess i nid to ditch my Sarong Sling aside... Nothing much today except lunch and some window shopping.. Below are pics of Ah boy taken wif his grandpa and his daddy.

FIRST SEMI-SOLID FOOD FEEDING
Ytd bought 2 bot of semi-solid food for ah boy. 1 of the bot is actually apple juice, specially for bb 4-6mths old. The other bot is pureed pear & banana. Ah boy managed to drink finish the apple juice, although initially reject a while after a few taste. But the pureed, he totally reject! I spoon 2 teaspoons of pureed for him to test test 1st. First little bit he taste, he spill out immediately. 
For the whole bottle of pureed, tink he managed to finish only ard 3 teaspoons. The rest... gone into the rubbish bin. Cant last more dan 48 hrs. 1st feeding was quite successful, 2nd feeding failed! Only accomplish half a bowl...
Next wk, his ah ma gng to cook cereal for him to try. Hope he get use to eating semi-solid food soon... Jia you!

INJECTION DAY
Today bring ah boy for his 2nd dose of his 5-in-1 injection. His aunt, which is my sis, accompany us. But heaven wasnt gd to us, as it was pouring heavily on our way to the polyclinic. In the end, v took a cab fr yishun mrt to yishun polyclinic and it costs us $2.90! The waiting time was short, and v don nid c doc tis time rd. V were attended by the same nurse as last rd and his injection was inserted on his left thigh. He cried a bit, as usual, but consider the shortest as compared to his prev 2. After his injection, he fell asleep... Don noe y he always so drowsy after injection!
V went Northpt have lunch n shop ard. Wen ah boy wake up, spot him wif fever. He refuse to drink milk so v took him hm immediately to let him rest n take his liquid panadol. He again reject his medic like the last rd. Tink only took 10% of the 2.5ml i fed him! The rest of medic he spill all over his clothes, body and handkerchief. Terrible! Lucky his temperature is below 37 deg.. juz the forehead a bit hot. Other than that, he quite well behaved for the day.

NAUGHTY LITTLE BOY
My mischevious boy is making me look like a pandan today... I'm gtg lazier.. i don wan wake up anymore to feed ah boy... So tiring lor... If he happy, he wake up once at nite to drink milk. If he naughty, he wake up 2x, and can spend 1 hr crying... Take last nite for eg... feed him milk & lotx water at 10pm, slp at 11pm, wake up at 2am... Too close a timing, he hardly wan milk, so fed him water... fell asleep within 20min.. Den 6am cried again! Arh! Tis time he wan milk, fed him, n yet he don wan slp after drinking.. fed him more water.. he still don wan slp.. crying in his cot... sayang/ pat him to slp.. still awake n cry.. his mouth curl up n "chu chu chu".. meaning wan more water lor! Finish 10-oz of water lor.. Wen my alarm clock rang, den he fall back to slp... Alamak... he make me wake up so damn early today.. So irritating... I miss my bed...
Wonder how to stop him fr waking up at the middle of the nite to drink milk.. Saw in forum, most mummies still wake up wen their kids ard 1y.o. I still got 8more mths of torture... i wan my slp.. so looking forward to my overseas holidays... so i can hang out till late late, n don nid wake up for nite feedings.. hee

"ITCHY" HANDS
Oh.. take a closer look at Ah-boy 'pretty' face.. full of red marks ard his right eyes.. These beautiful "face-painting" are caused by his long finger nails... Don noe y babies nails grow so fast... even faster dan mine! N he so enjoy scratching his face and his botak hair.. All over his head got red marks.. His care-taker, aka my MIL tried to cut his nails before, but accidentially cut into his skin, so now she don dare to cut anymore. The task of nail cutting is left to us.. N we can only cut his nails while he slping... Every wkday nite he slps ard 11pm.. but then it so late n dark n tired for us to even 'open' our eyes big big.. how to trim his nail? Therefore only cut his nails on sat, but by wed, his nails is super super long! Arh... feel like cut away all his nails!! (Joking!) Don recommend us to let him wear Mittens.. coz it will hinder his hand development...

NEW LOOK- BOTAK
Took sum pics wif ah boy before he shave his tai mao away... His soft hair and girly look will be gone in a few mins...
Happy Ah boy who don noe wat will happen to his hair in the next hr...Brought ah boy to a hair salon nearby our hse... A female hair dresser help to shave his hair, coz i heard tt female r more gentle... 1st few shave, ah boy din not cry... until his hair drops onto his face.. n irritate him tt he starts to cry out loud.. haha... all the ple in the salon look at ah boy.. Got 1 granny try to calm him down, but he still cry lor... tink the hair fell on his face n make him very itchy... Hb brought along the camera but din take any pic :( He stop crying shortly after the hair cut is completed. Den he felt so sleepy... don noe if it due to the head feeling very cool.. or he's tired fr the cry... Brought him home immed for a clean bathe ( where it is the 1st time his dad help him to bathe leh) and after drinking milk, he fall asleep very fast..

GOING BOTAK
My ke-lian ah boy... he going botak soon... not tt v r gng to cut his hair botak, but his tai mao is dropping very fast... Esp his back hair... He laid on his back most of the time, so the hair touch the pillow and bed more often and thus cause the hair to drop faster... His hands also aid in pulling his hair wen he struggle or stretch his body...

From the front he looks ok.. like a lot of hair...
Anyway, we are bringing him to cut botak 2mr... He sweating a lot with his long hair now.. and making his hair stink.. Besides, he looks so much like a girl wif his long hair.. Everytime bring him out, ple called him a "pretty baby girl"... hardly heard any comment abt him as a baby BOY? Also, i heard that if v don cut his hair botak, his tai-mao will drop slowly... showing big patches of botak like the pic tt ah boy is having now... So v choose to give him botak so he can grow better, thicker and healthier hair... (will miss his browny hair!)
To portait how ah boy will look like wen he botak, his Gu-Gu cover his hair wif a towel and he looks like this:
Doesnt look that bad hor... but look cute.. hopefully will look more YANDAO and not pretty...
