Hospitalised for fever

FEVER
On Tue Mrng, ah boy suddenly had a fever. He measured 37.1Deg... As 1st time parents and he having a fever for the 1st time too, we took no chance and I brought him to a clinic for checkup. The doc cannot detect wat causing the fever and his temperature was 37.7deg. Beside, for any baby tt is below 2mths and run a fever, has admitted to hospital. So v immediate send him to KK and again, doc at the emergency clinic cant detect wat wrong. So he was admitted for more detailed checking. Poor ah boy... He was sponged to reduce his fever... and the cloth is so cold and he shivering...
The nurse took ah boy’s urine, blood for laboratory testing... And meanwhile ah boy’s right hand is poked wif a needle for antibiotics... Ah boy is so small, n he nid to be poke at such a young age... He cry for quite a while wen he was brought back fr those pokings... It muz be very painful for him.. He took quite a while to fall asleep.. den he back to normal... I sneak home to pick up some clothes as I need to look after ah boy overnite at the hospital... I really hate staying in hospital.. I cant slp at all on the 1st nite... partially is I worried, and aso the atmosphere is uncomfortable. But luckily ah boy can slp well, he juz wake up in btwn for his feeding... den he doze off all the way... Guess he’s tired...
Ah boy’s fever subsides in the late evening but he need to stay for another day for the lab report... he was finally discharged on thu afternn and the report shows he is fine... He really scares us... And v take extra care in looking after him.. so tt he will not b so vulnerable again...

FULL MONTH CELEBRATION
Our hse is crowded wif relatives and close friends as v celebrated for Ah Boy’s full mth celebration. It was quite a big celebration as we held it over 2days... Sat for friends n sun reserved for family & relatives. Had buffets for both days.. Din took much pics as no1 help to take photos... coz v as the hosts r busy wif our guests... On sat, tink v had the most crowds, so ah boy is very shy... He kept his eyes shut thru out the party... And his presents consists of toys, clothes, accessories, jewelry, vouchers & angbaos… Sum of the guests carry him.. while majority r afraid of carrying him as he is still fragile.. and aso ah boy move a lot (even though he slping)... For me, I met up wif a lot of friends whom I haven’t seen for more dan a mth (coz confinement ma)... haha...
Sun are all our relatives... aso the official day of ah boy full mth. Early in the mrng, I cut a very little bit of his hair, then quickly bathe him for the 1st time. Previously he was bathed by his Ah Ma. Lucky for me as a 1st timer, he behaves very well as I put him in the bath tub… Not like wen his 1st few baths, he cry non-stop wen bathing... After bath, we quickly brought him to Ah Ma’s hse to pray to the ancestor and then to my mum’s hse to pray again... Den after tt, v quickly rush back to our hse as our relatives r arriving soon. While waiting... Ah Ma said I shd cut more of ah boy hair... esp his long side burn... so sad.. v like his side burn so much... but was forced to cut short coz he sweating a lot as his hair is very long and thick... Ah boy seems more awake this time rd, and a lot of relatives carried him... Our hse is more crowded wif lots of kids, mostly r our cousins and their kids... Presents collected include clothes and angbaos... And my presents include D.O.M. and chicken essence... I got 5 bot of D.O.M. since I gave birth... n I only drank a few slip until now... the rest of the D.O.M.?? Waiting for it to expire... lolx...
